Located
at 10 Km south of Guadeloupe, the Archipelago of les Saintes
is composed of 9 little islands of which only 2 are inhabited,
Terre de Haut
and
Terre de bas.
With
a surface area of 14 Km2, les Saintes has about 4000 inhabitants.
These wonderful islands are linked from Guadeloupe by air
from the ‘’Raizet airport’’ and by sea from Pointe à Pitre,
Saint François and Trois Rivières.
The inhabitants earn a living thanks to fishing and tourism
that developed a few years ago.
